Our school offers parents the option of dropping off their child to school early or picking them up late, thanks to our schools fantastic before and after school care program.
Young Men's Christian Association out of school hours care
The Young Men's Christian Association (also known as the YMCA or Y) before and after school care and vacation care service offers families a positive and community-centered environment for children to grow and develop in. Healthy eating is promoted by starting the day with a nutritional breakfast. Social skills and confidence are built through structured indoor active play, and imaginations are developed through art, craft and group experiences.
After being served a healthy afternoon snack, children can participate in team and individual sports, as well as a range of other physical activities that develop fitness, coordination and teamwork.
The YMCA also promotes healthy living through healthy cooking activities, while creative arts projects and music, dance and drama programs ensure children develop vital self-esteem, and learn how to express themselves. Parents will love the fact that doing homework is also encouraged as part of after school care.
Our vacation care provides children with fun and exciting experiences through day camps, incursions and excursions. Some of the great places we go to are Disney On Ice, museums, fun parks, bowling as well as crazy hair days, creative and arts days. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Location and times of operation
The YMCA Walters Road out of school hours care (OSHC) centre is located in the school grounds underneath the library.
Our hours of operation are:
- before school care 7am to 9am
- after school care 3:20pm to 6:20pm
- vacation care 7am to 6pm.
