Creative and performing arts

Debating and public speaking

Students at Walters Road Public School have the opportunity to develop their thinking, communication, and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They can participate in local competitions to showcase their talents. Public speaking helps students build confidence, improve communication skills, develops leadership abilities and enhances academic performance.

Student leadership opportunities

At Walters Road Public School, students are encouraged to develop their leadership skills. They can become active members of the Student Representative Council (SRC), take on roles as school leaders, or serve as sports and house captains. These experiences empower students to build confidence, take responsibility, and make a positive impact within the school community.
